Le Mont Saint-Michel

Le Mont Saint-Michel

Between the regions of Normandy and Brittany stands Mont Saint-Michel, a breathtaking attraction in a unique natural setting. This top tourist destination is a one-hour drive from Dinard Airport.

The rhythm of life on the "Wonder of the Western World" is set by the tides, since it sits in the centre of an immense bay. Enjoy the stunning view of the Mont as you cross the causeway that links it to the coast. Having crossed the door of the Boulevard, then that of the Roy provided with a drawbridge, you will roam in the Main street with its museums, its businesses and its houses XV and XVIth centuries. The attractions include the Abbey, museums and the parish church, small building of the XV and XVIth centuries dedicated in Saint-Peter, boss of the fishermen.

You can also find accommodation on the Mont, in one of its hotels or B&B. Once you've built up an appetite walking up and down the steep path to the Abbey, you can choose from one of the restaurants, café-bars or crêperies, or perhaps even the famous "Cafe de la Mère Poulard" with its remarkable views over the bay and the coastline.

Having admired the Abbey, you can contemplate the incomparable beauty of the Bay by going down the way of ramparts, or by choosing the covered way marked out by small gardens.
